HEPU Pumpen und Maschinen GmbH

HEPU-VT-VTS-PumpeIn the media-contacting area maintenance-free and seal-less pump with submersible motor.

The hydraulic wear parts of the submersible motor pump correspond to the horizontal pumps  “HEPU” and “HEPU-S”. The pump-side mechanical seal is not under pressure through constructional design and can be operated without maintenance. The depressurize leakage is returned through the opening in the pump-motor bracket back into the sump. The motor-side mechanical seal can thereby also be operated disturbance-free.

Range of application

HEPU submersible motor pumps without packing tackle almost all pumping assignments and are used for the following operating conditions:

  • Sand and gravel extraction
  • Excavation and tunnelling
  • Transit-mixed concrete recycling
  • Coal and sludge preparation
  • Ore preparation
  • Steel and smelting works
  • Power plants
  • Waste incineration systems
  • Porous concrete
  • Fine sand extraction

  • HEPU-VT for normal to medium applications
  • HEPU-VTS for cases of heavy application

Housing, impellers, and wear plates with wall strength up to 50 mm. Robust construction with crash-ring housing shell. Two, three, and four-channel impellers are available in open and closed construction. The submersion motor filled with lubrication oil at the factory must be continually immersed. Motor tem¬perature and leakage can be monitored.

Protection class: IP 68
Ex.-protected motors are available.
